JAYNE WILSON
Recent graduate of the UC Davis English program, Jayne Wilson is a prizewinning fiction writer and avid blogger, writing content for such blogs as “Hey, Subliterate,” and “Don’t Fail Me, Sweet Degree.” Awards for her fiction include a fellowship to the Tomales Bay Writer’s Workshop and second place for Fiction in the 2010 Pamela Maus Contest for Creative Writing. Founding member of Davis’s undergraduate literary arts magazine Nameless Magazine and Senior Fiction Editor for three years, Jayne now works at various literary agencies, discovering hidden gems in the slush pile.  She currently resides in San Francisco.

BRIONY GYLGAYTON
Briony Gylgayton, another UC Davis graduate, has won multiple awards for her poetry,  including placing second for the 2010 Ina Coolbrith Memorial Poetry Prize, and placing for both creative writing categories in the 2010 Pamela Maus Contest for Creative Writing, winning first in fiction and second in poetry. Her Creative Writing Honor’s Thesis, a manuscript of poetry about psychological disorders, was awarded the 2010 Elliot Gilbert Memorial Prize for Best Undergraduate Honors Creative Work.
