Aliza Sherman is a new media entrepreneur, author, blogger, women’s issues activist, and international speaker known for her expertise in online marketing and networking. In 1995, after founding the first ever woman-owned, full-service Internet company, Cybergrrl, Inc, Newsweek named her one of the “Top People Who Matter Most on the Internet.” She was one of only three women on the list. In 2009, Fast Company named her one of the Most Powerful Women in Technology. With her daughter, Aliza produced an iOS app called “Girls Can Be Anything Paperdolls” to provide age-appropriate, family-friendly games for young children who are already smartphone savvy.
