Listen to Daryl Lazaro!

Daryl Lazaro is a singer-songwriter and bandleader of the Davis-based quartet, Tor House. Lazaro graduated from UC Davis with a B.A. in English, where he focused on writing and studying poetry, and played trombone in the University Jazz Band. Since then, he has devoted himself to music full-time, writing and recording new songs for the band’s first full-length album, soon to be released this year.

Over the last year, Tor House has carefully etched their name as curators of the Naturalismo folk music movement. Daryl Lazaro first conceived this musical project in 2010 as a solo effort, and released a five-song EP in the Fall of 2010. He has since then put together a band to perform his music in front of audiences: guitarist Adam DeBow, percussionist Andrea Leake, and multi-instrumentalist Alvin De Los Santos. The quartet prepares to release their first full-length album this summer, titled The Immutable Tor House. To find out more, visit www.torhousemusic.com
