Listen to Liana Holmberg!

Liana Holmberg is a writer of fiction, poetry and prose. Her acclaimed work has appeared in the Academy of American Poets Anthology, New Voices, the alternative newspaper Honolulu Weekly, and a variety of literary journals online and in print. She is the founder of Red Bridge Press, an independent publisher of literary books in print and electronic media. She holds a Master’s in Creative Writing from the University of Hawaii, and is a graduate of the Stanford Publishing Course.

After beginning her career at the award-winning Manoa: A Pacific Journal of International Writing as Assistant Managing Editor, she served as Production Editor at the University of Hawai`i Press and then Art Director at the premier open-access journal Public Library of Science. More recently, she joined Linden Lab, makers of the 3-D virtual world Second Life, where she became Product Manager of Search and Advertising.

She grew up in a rural town in Hawaii and now lives in San Francisco.
