UCD FILM FESTIVAL The Davis Varsity Theatre presents the Department of Theatre and Dance’s UC Davis Film Festival at the Davis Varsity Theatre in downtown Davis. Produced in association with UC Davis Technocultural Studies and co-sponsored by Film Studies and Art Studio, the festival, now in its 11th year, gives students the opportunity to present their short films and receive feedback from faculty who are professionals in film, television and new media.

Pete Glanting UC Davis English major Pete Glanting is a San Francisco native and currently lives with his cat, Bonnie, in the hut that he and his father built. He transferred to UC Davis in the Fall of ’09 from City College of SF, and has since taken on the illustrious mantle of the UWP PR intern under Andy Jones’s expert tutelage and frequent beatings. Though Pete’s academic work has him writing most of the time, he works, for food, as an illustrator (he also dances for nickels). He and his brother, Paul, recently collaborated on a graphic novel for Paul’s master’s program at SF state. Pete also draws an online comic, delicate adventures, which depicts history’s notables, obscures, and non-existents as eggs. Most notably however, Pete manages Pickles the goat, the masticating virtuoso.
